01 The short answer

How much does a real estate marketing agency cost?

The cost of hiring a real estate marketing agency has two parts: the agency’s fee and the media budget paid to platforms like Google and Meta. Softex Media’s fee is usually a monthly fee or a share of ad spend, plus creative, set after scoping the projects, cities and services involved.

What moves the number

Media budget

Larger budgets need more campaigns, testing and management

Number of projects

Each project needs its own audiences, pages and tracking

Funnel scope

Strategy, creative, media, SEO, website, WhatsApp and CRM each add work

Creative volume

More formats, languages and refreshes mean more design time

Cities and corridors

Each market needs its own plan and reporting

03 FAQ

Real estate marketing agency FAQ

01Real estate digital marketing pricing and budget

How much do real estate marketing agencies charge?

Agencies usually charge a monthly retainer, a percentage of ad spend or a mix, with creative and one-off work such as websites priced separately. The fee depends on scope more than on the agency’s name. Softex Media charges a monthly fee or a share of ad spend, plus creative, set after scoping your projects.

What drives the cost of real estate marketing?

Five things: the media budget, the number of projects, how much of the funnel the agency runs, how much creative is needed, and how many cities or corridors are involved. A single project in one corridor costs less to run well than several launches across Pune and Mumbai.

Is ad spend included in the agency fee?

No. Ad spend is paid to Google, Meta and other platforms, ideally from ad accounts in your company’s name, so you can see every rupee. The agency fee covers the work: planning, management, creative, tracking and reporting. Keeping the two separate makes it clear what each part costs.

What is a sensible minimum budget for real estate marketing?

There’s no single figure. A sensible budget lets each channel run consistently in the corridors that matter for long enough to learn, which depends on ticket size, competition and the project’s stage. On the first call, Softex Media explains what a given budget can realistically do for your project.

How should a developer plan a real estate marketing budget?

Start from the sales target and inventory, work back to the site visits needed, and size media to produce them, heaviest around launch and lighter in sustain. Then add the agency fee and creative. Review the split weekly against site visits and bookings rather than fixing it for the year.

How do you charge for creative?

Creative is scoped with the engagement: the number of ad formats, refreshes, languages and pages a month. Ongoing campaign creative is usually part of the monthly arrangement; larger pieces such as a new identity or a microsite are scoped separately. You see the scope before work begins.

How do I compare real estate marketing agency quotes?

Compare what each quote includes rather than the headline fee: which channels, how many projects, whether creative, landing pages, tracking, WhatsApp and CRM set-up are covered, and what’s reported weekly. A cheaper quote that stops at lead counts often costs more per booking.

Is cost per lead or cost per site visit the better measure of value?

Cost per site visit, followed by cost per booking. Cost per lead rewards cheap enquiries that may never visit, and cost per qualified lead is better but still short of the sales outcome. Softex Media reports all four, cost per lead, cost per qualified lead, cost per site visit and cost per booking, so you can judge value at the point that matters.

02Contracts and timelines

How long is a typical real estate marketing contract?

Engagements are usually ongoing and reviewed regularly, because campaigns improve as data builds up. Project-based work such as a website or a launch can have its own scope and end point. Terms are agreed in the proposal after scoping, including how either side can end the engagement.

How long before we see site visits?

Set-up comes first: tracking, landing pages, WhatsApp flows and CRM routing are built and tested before media starts. Enquiries usually begin soon after launch, and visit patterns become readable over the following weeks. Exact timing depends on the project’s stage, ticket size and market.

Can an agency promise a number of bookings?

No. No honest agency can, because bookings depend on product, price, market and the sales team as well as marketing. What Softex Media commits to is the method: a tested funnel, weekly reporting on visits and bookings by source, and budget moved towards what works.

Can we start with one project and expand later?

Yes, and it’s often the better way. One project shows how the method works with your team and your CRM. Additional projects then reuse the tracking, flows and reporting already in place, which makes each new launch faster to set up.

What happens in the first month?

An audit of what’s running, agreement on qualification criteria and measures, set-up of tracking, pages, WhatsApp flows and CRM routing, and then the first campaigns. The first weekly reports focus on whether qualified leads and site visits are arriving from each source.

03Process and real estate marketing reporting

What do you report every week?

For each project and lead source: spend, leads, qualified leads, site visits scheduled and completed, bookings, and the cost of each stage, plus what budget moved and why. The aim is a report your sales head can read in five minutes and act on.

Who owns the ad accounts and the data?

You do. Ad accounts, pixels, analytics properties, the CRM and the WhatsApp Business account should all be in your company’s name, with Softex Media given access to work in them. If the engagement ends, nothing has to be transferred back.

What is booking attribution, and why does it matter for cost?

Booking attribution traces each booking back to the campaign, ad and source that started it, through the CRM. Without it, budgets follow lead counts. With it, you can see which spend produced buyers who paid a token amount, and move money accordingly.

How is real estate marketing ROI measured?

By comparing what marketing cost with the bookings it produced, which needs booking attribution in the CRM. Softex Media reports cost per booking by source rather than a single ROI figure, because it shows which channels to grow and which to cut.

Do you work with our existing CRM?

Usually, yes. Softex Media works in Sell.Do, LeadSquared and Salesforce and adapts to the CRM your sales team uses, provided it can record lead source, qualification answers and stage dates. Where those fields are missing, they’re added during set-up, and the sales team is shown how to mark visits and bookings so reports stay accurate.

How do you work with our sales team?

Closely. Qualification criteria are agreed with your sales head, routing rules follow how the team is organised, and the team marks visits and bookings in the CRM. A short weekly review covers what the reports show and what the sales floor is hearing.

Can channel partners and brokers be part of the plan?

Yes. Channel partners can be briefed with approved messaging and creative, and their buyers registered in the CRM so credit is clear. Partner leads appear in the weekly report beside paid and organic sources, judged on visits and bookings, so partners who bring real buyers are easy to recognise.

04Services

What services does Softex Media offer?

Strategy and positioning, branding and creative, performance media (Google Ads, Meta ads, YouTube, programmatic), SEO and AEO, social media marketing, website development and maintenance, project launches, and lead management through WhatsApp automation and CRM integration. All of it is planned as one funnel and reported against site visits and bookings.

Can we hire you for one service only?

Yes. Some clients start with Google Ads, a website or WhatsApp automation alone. The work is still set up to connect with the rest of the funnel, so tracking and reporting are ready if you add services later. A single-service engagement is also a low-risk way to see how Softex Media works.

Do you handle project launches end to end?

Softex Media covers launch strategy, creative, pages, media, channel-partner communication and lead handling, from preparation before RERA registration to launch weekend and beyond. Print, hoarding and video production are not listed services and are usually handled by your other vendors with shared guidelines. See project launch marketing.

Do you build and maintain websites?

Yes. Developer websites, project microsites and campaign landing pages are built with CRM integration, tracking and RERA details, and can be maintained afterwards, with prices, inventory and RERA details kept current and forms tested monthly. Every page is built fast for mobile buyers. See website development.

Which cities do you cover?

Softex Media works across India, with depth in Pune, Mumbai and MMR, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Gurugram. Projects elsewhere in India follow the same method, with local research at the start. Each city has its own hub explaining how campaigns change there, such as the Pune and Mumbai pages.

05Compliance

Can we start marketing before RERA registration?

You can prepare, but not advertise. Positioning, creative, pages, CRM and WhatsApp flows can be built before registration. Ads, teasers, pre-launch, soft launch and EOI drives go out only after the project is registered. Preparing early means the campaign can go live the day the registration number arrives.

What RERA details must every ad show?

The project’s RERA registration number and the authority’s website address, prominently. In Maharashtra, under MahaRERA, every ad for a registered project also carries a scannable QR code beside them, in the upper-right area, with the details in a font at least as large as the contact details.

Can real estate ads promise returns or appreciation?

They shouldn’t. Promising returns risks breaching platform rules on investment advertising, including advertiser verification for investment ads in India on Meta, and creates expectations nobody can keep. Softex Media sells homes and workspace on use, location and product, which also brings buyers who are less likely to cancel.

Who is responsible for compliance wording?

Softex Media builds the RERA details and platform rules into every template and checks each creative before release, but compliance wording is marketing copy, not legal advice. Your legal team should review it, especially for launches, EOI terms and offers.

06Working with Softex Media

What happens after we enquire?

You share the project details through the form, by phone or by email. Softex Media gets back to you to set up a call. On the call, you go through the project, the market, your goals and current marketing, and whether Softex Media is the right fit.

What should we prepare before the first call?

Whatever you already know: the project and its location, stage and registration status, configurations or ticket size, the budget range you’re considering, timelines and what’s running today. Access to current ad accounts and the CRM helps later but isn’t needed for the first call.

Do you take on projects outside Pune, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Gurugram?

Yes. Softex Media works India-wide; these five cities are where it has the deepest market detail. For other cities, the same method applies, with corridor and buyer research done at the start of the engagement, and reporting set up exactly as it is for the five main cities.

Who will work on our account?

The proposal names the people responsible for strategy, media, creative and reporting, and the single contact you’ll deal with week to week. Pratik Ghadage, Founder, stays involved in planning and reviews. You’ll know who does what before work begins, and changes to the team are told to you in advance.
